Been going through profiles and I've noticed some have very little + minimal effort to them but yet they have loads of veris.

Same with checking some of the women's veri's most the men on them only have dick picks or very minimum on their profile but yet the woman's profile I'm checking always moans on about no dick pics but yet most her veris are just dick pics from men with minimal profiling.... Yet men with fuller more detailed profiles and no dick pics don't get anywhere?

Who knows? I try not to sweat the small stuff as it'll drive you nuts if you try to understand the vagaries of Fab.

What I would say however to answer some of your ponderings, perhaps the person who the veri was from changed their profile after the veri was left? Perhaps an exception was made as a result of the messages they sent, perhaps the meets were at a group social and a million and one other possible answers.

As for a woman having a minimal profile and lots of veris - given the number imbalance on here it's less important for a woman to have a detailed and engaging profile than it is a single guy, because they'll get the attention regardless.

I always look at the message first. You don't see that. Also, most of the guys I've met with profiles I don't like have been in clubs or for group stuff.

Sell the best version of yourself to your satisfaction. If you ask, I'll tell you what I like, but it's up to you.

I got about 20 messages while I was writing the first version of my profile.

Men without dick pics that do make an effort with their profile don't get anywhere? That's tosh.

Regardless of whether they have made an effort with their profile or not, they still need to be what someone else is looking for.

I noticed on another thread you said that you have to be black, big dicked or rich to get a meet from here.

I think you're looking to blame anything and everything.

On my singles profile I had veris from those with dick pics. I bumped into those people at clubs or social events, so it goes to show if you make an effort in ALL areas, including getting out from behind the computer screen you will meet people.

My profile is shit. I never have bothered with a blurb.

My friend pics are dick pics and a body pic.

What I find on here works for me. Is simply sending a message tailored to the profile of the recipient.

Add some Face pics and that’s it. Delete the sent message so as not to get worked up if it gets deleted and don’t sweat.

It worked for me when I was meeting.

Yeah, I think this is the (not) secret. There's no formula. We're all people and we all like different things. There's certainly no "I've done x, y, z, entered the cheat code, and now I get laid".

A lot of people talk about what may or may not increase your chances, what we may or may not like. But sometimes a "perfect" example might look like my brother or a weird teacher from school and thus turn just me off. Or someone with a (to my mind) bad profile might send an utterly charming message or meet me in a club. It's not quantifiable, there's no guarantees, we're all different.

OP quite a few of my veris are from people who have a rubbish profile but I met them at clubs.

My regular FB has a really shit profile but we met in a club over 2 years ago. He didn't need a good profile to impress me when meeting in person

I read your other post but I didn’t comment. I don’t think you came across very well but you got a good slating rightly or wrongly and now you wish you hadn’t posted that thread so you’re now saying you don’t deserve to be here. I stick by what I said, I’m not usually wrong. I think you’re just insecure to be honest. Start again, unhide your profile. Say a bit about yourself rather than that story you had on there. Don’t judge others for what they want to do and just search for what you want. Yeah you’ve been hurt but so have a lot of people. Not everyone is bad. Good luck

A good message and a nice face stands out more to me than a good profile with no cock pics. Could be the same for other people.

If you're a single bloke with low self esteem this is the worse possible place to be as, given, the ratios, you are going to get rejection after rejection.

I would say the OP that it would be best if he left the site.

Hi, Well done for saying so, it takes a lot of guts to admit you're struggling and need help.

Stick around and chat on the forum, it helps me to feel part of a community and have a laugh. Treat Fab as just a bit of fun, like buying a lottery ticket: he chances of winning might be small but the anticipation of playing makes it worthwhile and you never know when it might be your lucky day.

First though, have chat with your GP. There's lots of ways to get help that will help you get on a more even keel.

Take care, message me if you want to chat privately. I've got no ulterior motive except that I struggled for 15 years without someone to talk to and wouldn't wish it on anyone else.

Sorry to hear that OP. In that mindset Fab is probably not the best place to be.

I'd suggest trying to tackle your mental challenges first. Have a look on the MIND mental health site. It's very user friendly and easy to negotiate. Will give you some idea on options for help and support for any mental health issues.

Because since they've met that person he's changed his profile pics.

Because they met at a club where profile blurb and pics are of little relevance.

Because there was something about the opening message that grabbed their attention.

I tend to not bother myself with things beyond my control and understanding and just get on with my own shit.

We have little on our profile because we go out to clubs and randomly bump into people and thats how we get our verifications we have never ever arranged a meet on here. Therefore we dont need to rely on our profile to do the talking for us.
