There's no 'always': treat each person you contact as an individual and approach them based on who they are. A message that shows you've read their profile and thought before writing works wonders.

Most people do prefer to see who they're talking to though.

Sometimes couples insist on one on first message, I would kinda expect to exchange face pics by third message if interested. But As you already have a face pic it might be a cock pic I’d be interested in but I would ask for that if needed! Lol

I never ask for face pics as I would never send one initially, after a scan of their profile and a couple of messages back n forth to see if there could be possible connection through conversation then a face pic would be good then. My ‘type’ in looks changes but not what I’m looking for mentally
