Do you usually assume you're going to be talking to the man? Or the woman? Or do you address it to both?

I'm generally the one on chatting - forum and messages - and it really pisses me off when a messager assumes it'll be W and refers to me like property

I always address to both, aim the message at both, but always assume it's the male that will be reading.

It’s totally the other way around for us, we both post on the forum and equally answer messages but most messages start with “hey babe” to which mr usually replies with something witty and they soon disappear lol

messages to both of us really stand out they are so few and far between

I was wondering the other day when someone was talking about it, is it because the females picture is on the avatar most of the time. It would be interesting to find out if the avatar changes the way someone address you.

Not at all. After adding our latest pic we got an imaginative message from a straight guy that simply said I’d love to rim you

I politely declined and explain his chances of success would be infinitely higher if he’d made the same sexy threat in Sally’s direction

It’s incredibly common though 90% of the messages we get assume they are talking to the fem. The other 10% we reply to - plus any where we get to torment stupidly or ignorance

We find it to be this way around too, so many assume it's me(female) online, Mr likes to firmly remind them its a shared profile x

History tells me that if you get a message from a forum user (whether all, female or couple) it's more likely to be addressed or aimed to both.

Messages from random site users will usually be aimed at whichever half they think they'll get the best response from, so either one telling the guy he's lucky or one explaining how he'll smash your back doors in and how amazing your tits are.

We always had a profile pic with us both in it and 99% of the time got messages addressing us both. We'd sign messages with both our names.

I would like to know who I would be talking to, most profiles do mention this, otherwise I generally address both people untill the person of the couple at least identify themselves.

Ps it would be nice at times for couple would change their profile pic accordingly, but I do understand why not, it's just something I would do if I was in a couple situation.

I always address both.

The fact that they were referring to either of us as property would put me off anyway.

I'd see that as a positive though as it means we're not compatible so no need to carry on chatting.

We sign off as either V or W. A lot of couples don't though.

Since the current profile pic is just me I'd have thought more would assume it's me they'll get... Usually that's the 2am messages though being hopeful

If the profile says one or other of them tends to manage their profile then I write to that person. Otherwise I always assume I am speaking to both of them.

I tend to be on fab more but have had loads of messages addressed to the mr telling him I’m fit etc if I reply back I sometimes pretend I’m him lol
