Doesnt bother me, if they feel they need to hide who they really are/who they’re attracted too then I just feel sad for them.

Maybe I’d feel differently if I’d met someone who is ‘fab straight’ and I found out later on that they’re not straight.

I know people who are Fab straight (men who are bi but say they're straight on their profile). It is sad, but I get why they do it. As long as they don't push themselves onto people who aren't interested, I support them using the label that suits their needs.

I've also heard, for women, "Fab bi".

I think sexuality is fluid and depending on my mindset the labels of what I confirm to kinda change.

I also find profiles with 'no hi guys at all only straight' when you can see veris from bi men or couples are amusing.

The amusing thing is I am not even a practising bisexual but prefer transparency. If that means I can’t meet someone I really fancy because of it. Then so be it, we probably wouldn’t have clicked anyway.

The actual people that are and did contact me frequently do irritate me, simply by virtue of lying on their profile as a way of circumventing people preferences.

As a bisexual man, would I meet a man who identified as straight on their profile, yet wanted to get sexual with me? No, I wouldn't - for the simple reason that if they are lying about their sexuality, what else are they lying about?

I have a running joke with a few on here that I am “Fab Straight”.

Pretty straightforward reasoning as to why, nothing sinister.

When I initially listed myself as Bi / Bi-curious I felt over time I was being unfair to those that messaged me looking for that as that’s not what I want from my Fab meets. I’m purely looking for men and if something happens in a club scenario with another woman then happy days.

So for me it works to be labelled this way..

The best term to describe me is "bi playful" which I do like. I don't want bi on my profile because I wouldn't meet women alone, only as part of a group (mff).

There are many reasons why people say they are straight when they're not 100% straight.

Some gents absolutely have to get their Straight card out and prove their straightness at every opportunity.

A guy who is confident about his heterosexuality doesn't get defensive or feel the need to condemn any activity which may violate his straightness.

As i was the guy it was directed at I think I should speak up, it was a tongue in cheek comment as on a hot or not thread I posted hot but it appeared under a guy instead of the woman it was meant for!!
