What diet do you follow?.

Jump to newest

By (user no longer on site) OP

I follow if it fits in your macros, you might of heard about it? Basically it is that you can eat what you want until you hit your calories you aim for, the idea behind it is, does it fit in your macros? Sure you can have it. I like flexible dieting where a calorie is a calorie

I don’t really follow a diet. I try and eat healthy foods and snacks. My biggest down fall is caffeine tho

I eat whatever I've cooked for my son, or whatever I can find in my fridge, plus too much chocolate.

I'm gradually cutting down on the chocolate and replacing it with fruit.

What is this word diet you speak of??

I guess we are lucky that we eat what we want ... and it varies on mood ... some days it's a matter of really not being arsed and eating easy food ... other days we really make an effort and eat well.

It's all about balance and how we eat balances out during the week

Too much sway is placed upon trendy fad diets in my humble opinion

I follow a habitual healthy eating regime, but like shag I use a macro profile which changes subtlety depending upon a current fitness goal

Currently

120 g carb

170 g protein

And 65 g fat

Fruit, vegetables, nuts, eggs, oily fishcooking from scratch (fresh pasta!)

Ive high metabolism so I can eat what I like but I like healthy food. My only issue is getting enough protein each day

Keto leaning towards carnivore. Carbs do me absolutely no favours and eating this way has kept my health problems in check for the last few years.

SSS is generally low carb, which has managed to keep him looking hot hot hot with very minimal exercise/working out

"How do you know what are the right macros? "

Will depends on what you’re doing it for and what you’re willing to follow. Personally I think carbs should be lower than they generally are, mainly because a lot of carb containing foods are nonsense junk and real good quality foods are naturally lower carb/higher fat.

But there are lots of calculators out there if you want to work it out.

Bacon and eggs at least twice a week, and a full English at least once a week, fruit, nuts, fresh veg, pretty much everything else in moderation, and PLENTY of exercise...it's done me right so far

Keto diet, little to no processed food combined with intermitted fasting 16/8

Eat what I want and like (lots of meat, fruit and veg drowned in stupid amounts of butter).

Rarely feel hungry, have less choices to make food wise, improved focus, digestion, energy levels and general health.

Is there an app or book to look up food groups as I wouldn't have a clue.

How do you know that?

Thanks

I don't consciously follow a diet. When I was a kid my mum cooked everything from scratch, we only had crisps, fizzy drink etc on our birthdays or at Christmas and I just carried that on.
