It never has gone down well but nowadays it seems more depressing than ever. Near empty pubs(Wetherspoons aside of course) and both last and next Friday seems further away than a solution for Brexit.

Even in my younger,less sensible days when my time was my own I used to pass on the Sunday evening shift because it was just too morbid..well that and the fact that I'd got no fookin' money left.

Most things you intended to do the weekend didn't get done and let's face it, Sundays just aren't special any more. The shops are open, the roads are busy and Songs of Praise isn't on in the evenings any more.
