There are some truly awful people on here.

I don't wink or send couples or women messages, so I'm safe.

There’s no excuse for rudeness and it’s damned annoying when people abuse and then block. You can always report them if you so wish

You can’t please everyone so if you find winks usually work then carry on...

Report them.

There's nasty people of all genders on here. Weird how it's usually the men that get blamed for it.

"I know winks can be contentious but when I wink I do it to indicate it’s a good profile as often as I do to “test the water”.

If a profile mentions they don’t like winks then I don’t.

Winked at a bi couple last night and just received a very abusive message calling me moronic and went on to imply I was arrogant to “think I was amazing enough to be invited to theirs”. Finished off their missive by writing “blocked”

Why do people do that? Either ignore the wink or block. Really don’t understand the need to be so offensive and then block me.

Perhaps there should be a wink to indicate a great profile and a separate one for “yes I’m interested”

Anyone else experienced the same? "

I have a similar experience, at first I was angry but then I just laughed, imagine how awful their lives must be to react like that

It amazes me how anyone can be rude online but think they are nice people in the real world!

OP look at it as you had a lucky escape, smile and move on!

Personally I prefer winks to messages ...

Perhaps as they are London based they get fed up with all the winks and messages and my wink just tipped them over the edge

There are some horrible people on here, I’m a big girl but get lots of genuine messages but also ge a lot from men who have tried all the fit ladies and been knocked back so think they’ll give the “fat bird” a try... when you send them a polite no thanks the abuse you get back can be horrendous, really derogatory like they didnt fancy you anyway you fat ..... just needed somewhere to empty my sack... and stuff like that, it really does knock your confidence n spoil it for the genuine guys on here x

"Name and shame them to warn other users to avoid them"

Against Fan rules and could entail a ban. Better to message Admin privately.

Anyway, it matters not a jot what others think or say on here, it really doesn’t. It’s no different then the wider internet or ‘real life’. If a stranger sends abuse it’s of no consequence as that’s all they are, some arsehole who doesn’t know you and that you’ll never have to bother about again.

I had similar once. I viewed a profile and from reading the description it was clear I wasn’t what they wanted so I just clicked away and left it. 3 mins later I received a mesage from them telling me how disgusting I was and not to dare to ever look at their profile again as I made them sick. So just for good measure I looked every day for a week before they finally blocked me

However I have now got my stealth mode switched on to prevent it happening again as it was quite annoying and upsetting at the same time. I know I’m not the type that appeals to most but still no need for that

Don't name and shame and don't quote messages both are against forum rules.

If you receive an abusive message report it and let admin deal with it.

I've removed the first post .
