I live away from may beloved Manchester now and so miss the scene. Anyone else in the West mids into indie music? Feel like it's a dying genre.

The libertines, the music is perfectly listenable but never liked Doherty which lead to me not really paying much attention to them.

Maximo park are my true love, seen them whenever they’re in Birmingham.

In my opinion, A certain trigger is the greatest indie album ever produced.

Before that, Neds atomic dustbin !

I've spent over half my life watching neds, such a great live band and really nice guys.

Gutted that for a second year running I can't make the "with love from stourbridge" tour

If you are lookibg for smaller live gigs Worcester has a few decent venues.

Midlands indie scene was always different to Manchester. As a brummie back in the day it was always a little more crusty/grebo influenced than the Manchester bands
