Girls seem to be wearing what was once used in the bedroom for nights out. Not complaining though

Yes, if you're out in Nottingham on a weekend evening, you do see some sights ...

They seem to be enjoying themselves though.

Personally I prefer a rather classier look of alluring mature women rather than overt and unsophisticated flaunting.

The issue is were in 2019, i dont have a daughter, but when i was young alot of kids weren't allowed mobiles or playstation ect, times are different to when adults in their 40s or older are when they were 15/20yrs of age. Today kids of 10 have the latest iPhones and gadgets, girls dress how they want and wear makeup really young. Unfortunately you have to go with the times, if you stop your kids doing whats normal these days they get bullied and live a very solo life. By no means im saying id be ok with it,but its whats known as normal today and is totally accepted as a thing of this day and age.

It's just clothes.

Sleeveless used to be risque and akin to wearing undies. Last A/W trends had lots of silk/satin pyjama styles. The underwear as outerwear trend has been around for a little while now. It too will pass. S/S has a lot of high-necked, long sleeved tops and dresses.

As to what you'd let children wear, you can only control it for about the first 12/14 years. After that they will do we have all done and change when they are out of your sight, or, if you have a strong respectful relationship wear it openly and you can have a conversation about it.

We never used to wear much 20 yrs ago either.

If you're already in your nightie no need to change for bed when you arrive home feeling less than well I guess

I have no say in what my daughter wears now but when she was younger I used to advise her against certain outfits. I also advised my son that women weren't wearing things for his benefit. My mum used to stop me from wearing mini skirts but I just folded the waist band over when I was out of sight or changed at a friend's house.

Fashion through the centuries changes sometimes women wear more than at others.
