I’d prefer younger but am happy to consider older. However as I am 52 that does restrict the numbers.

I've always thought the +/- 10 rule works age dependant of course ie 25/35 or 35/45. The older you get the less of a difference it makes imo

18 and 40 sounds wrong

40 and 62 not so much
