Under the Duvet

I'm having a medical emergency (low blood sugar due to lack of eye candy) and need to admire some men in vests asap. Anyone able to help me out in my hour of need?

I'm feeling very faint....

I get a bit confused as some people refer to Tee shirts as vests.

Or is this an Americanism? I am finding myself somewhat discombobulated

In the US, a vest is what we call a waistcoat. They call what we call a vest an undershirt. What with the pants thing as well, clothes shopping in America can be quite traumatic.

And even if we Brits manage to finally find the correct clothes, we then must face the same confusing ordeal all over again when it comes to ordering food; chips vs crisps and jelly vs jam

Also, of special note, it’s judicious to remember that a ‘fanny’ is a bum in America.....

I agree - they should be the preserve of fewer men than try it. Unless Minnie needs to see even more

No, a bum is a tramp. It really is bloody confusing. Never try to ponce a fag from a bum in America.
