I’ll try again in English!

St Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band was released closer to the end of World War I than the present day

Ha ha - that would have been preferable to terribly spelt English (and before any smart-arses say it, that’s not what Welsh is!)

I'm sure you have unless you have avoided all avenues of song in the last 20 years. If was a hugely popular song and has been used in numerous advert campaigns etc.

YouTube it.

Of course not ... Welsh is what a lot of people speak after a heavy night drinking

I know - languages using/adapting some words from other languages is terrible.

Must dash - have to fix a blocked sink in my local kindergarten (German).

It only sounds funny in Welsh because that language uses way less “foreign” words and they stick out more .

Sorry - thread derailment!

Yeah know the tune now (thanks to YouTube),never knew who sang or recorded it.

And can honestly say I don't think I've ever seen those three lads before.

Catchy wee ditty though.

"I must be really old,I never heard of it "

I think I’d moved on to Radio 4 by then so it passed me by.

Back when it was released I couldn't stand it, played everywhere, overly happy catchy pop song.

Now... Its a "oh I love this song") moment when I hear it. The nostalgia and to get away from the majority of modern music. I'm definitely turning in to an old grump when it comes to music and the good old back in my day attitude.
