Cheating in Video Games

To any gamers here, does anyone feel fed up other players cheating on online multiplayer games?

Star Wars Battlefront 2 for example is swamped with players who would rather cheat their way for their team to win rather than play the game properly.

For example, in Heroes Vs Villains matches, if a player is a target, they would choose to run around the map and use what abilities they have to keep other players back and then continue running until the target from the other team is killed.

I find this very annoying and it ruins the gaming experience for not just me but for other players as well.

Anyone else have problems like this on other online games?

See, that in my book isn’t ‘cheating’... it’s a valid tactic that you just have to learn to counter. In other forums the phrase “git gud” would be appropriate.

People who actively use cheats and exploits in Multiplayer on the other hand (and particularly all those sods who use Aimbots in Overwatch)... barstewards.

I understand where you're coming from in terms of cheats and exploits on other games especially when they're on PC games.

It used to be much worse some fifteen years ago when playing halo online with my kids ,

There were various glitches on every level where players would effectively leave the gameplay area and snipe from a position that no one could get to . It ruined the experience when these chats were playing , and as hard as Xbox tried to ban them , they would keep returning .
