Ok, for the last month I have been eating really really clean (prepping every weekend). Living on chicken, baked potatoes, salads. Weekends include loads of veggies and I snack only on fruit and home made protein bars.

Last night I broke.. guys at work were talking about Nandos all day. So I tagged along and tucked in.

The after effects? I couldn't sleep last night with my belly making all kinds of weird noises and this morning..I won't even describe it. I feel like I have a weird MSG hangover.

Back to clean eating.. think it will be a long time before I go back there.

Does anyone else feel like this after eating out at places like this?

Depending what you had from Nando’s you shouldn’t have too much msg, it’s hard for you to get it from chicken

Been clean eating for ages but a few months ago succumbed to a Chinese takeaway, which I thought my choice was relatively good. Really felt bloated & stomach burbling away for ages. Not going back any time soon

If I have a kebab after eating clean I feel like

I have a hangover. So much so I would rather continue clean.

Maybe the salt content. Either way I feel grim.

Hiding in the shadows

Yep!

Since starting my new training programme 4wks ago, I've changed my diet completly - I've not even had pizza, not drank alcohol during the week and only had a couple of gins at the weekends (with a pint of soda)

Went out last Thursday evening with friends from work.

I picked what I considered the healthiest option available. The food was freshly prepared not processed, and delicious. I also had 3 large GnTs

Friday & Saturday was spent feeling bloated, windy, cramps & the constant urge to run to the loo.

I was away at the weekend so food wasn't on point, back to clean as of yesterday, but I'm still feeling the effects

On the plus side, for any interested ladies, I have some fresh delicious protein balls filled with pure nut butter that I am willing to share

Nope, you can do ok at nandos. If I'm being strict, I'll have a chicken and that bean salad thingy they do.

Has little to do with where you've eaten and more so to do with that you've not eaten that type of food for a weeks,so now your digestive system is like wtf.
