Chocolate Cherry liqueurs. A box of chocolate covered marzipans. Dark chocolate raspberry marshmallows.

We have a small table in the corner of the room which has six large boxes of chocolates on it along with various specialty chocolate selections like liqueur chocolates and marzipan etc.

Last year we finished the final box in the first week of December.

A Dr friend of mine has the theory that if you eat all your chocolate at once, your body can't absorb all the fats so much of it will pass through as waste. If you it it a little at a time, your body has more time to absorb an overall larger amount. Therefore eating it quickly is healthier. I have no idea, but I have embraced this theory..

I chucked some of last years leftover chocolate out when I moved the table to put up the Christmas tree.

I think the same will probably happen again. There’s boxes of hotel chocolat sweets, batons. Green and blacks mini bars, prestat chocolates and some others I can’t even think of. I should remember and take them to work but everyone’s on diets

A Dr friend of mine has the theory that if you eat all your chocolate at once, your body can't absorb all the fats so much of it will pass through as waste. If you it it a little at a time, your body has more time to absorb an overall larger amount. Therefore eating it quickly is healthier. I have no idea, but I have embraced this theory.. "

Unless there is a RCT to support this I’m not going with it

I think the same will probably happen again. There’s boxes of hotel chocolat sweets, batons. Green and blacks mini bars, prestat chocolates and some others I can’t even think of. I should remember and take them to work but everyone’s on diets"
