Bathtime...

So, here is another question... Purely for scientific reasons.

We all like a hot bath now and then. But how many people love staying in so long that they have to top it back up with hot water?

What is your method of doing this without turning to an ice block in the process or am I alone with this problem?

Nope you aren't alone. I love this. If I'm alone and reading or listening to music I can spend hours in there. I use my feet to turn the hot tap on so I can stay with my top half submerged

I nearly always keep the hot tap running so I’ve never suffered from the ice block syndrome...thankfully!

I don't really enjoy that. It feels like sitting in a pool of dead skin cells and bubbles that have long since sadly deflated and the odd solitary one drifts across the surface.

Do you need to take a shower after having a bath to feel clean?

Haha Mali... That's an interesting way to look at it.

Maybe you could see those dead skins cells as being cleaned up by the purest of pure water with the finest cleanest bubble bath that has to be offered.

Plus the heat alone... That relaxes the muscles. Haha

Yes I do. That's normal, isn't it?

I love it. Take a book and a cup of tea and I can stay in there for hours!

I turn the tap with my toes too, adding hot water to the bath is one of those mmmmmmmmmmm moments.

Nice to know I'm not alone then haha.

I have to confess that I have had a shower right after to get my hair properly washed and rinsed. It's literally the highlight of some nights hahahaha

In the bath right now! We bathe together almost every night, always have. Get in when it's steamy, out when it's cool

I like a bubble bath but I can’t just lay there for ages. I enjoy the moment and then get out

Hefty Hideaway

I adore a good old wallow in the bath. Top up as soon as I think it’s getting cooler. Bubbles get topped up too. I can stay in there for hours til everything wrinkles. The best bit is the cleansing shower afterwards. Lush.

If I have a bath, which is only normally when I’m freezing cold, I have to stand under the shower after to rinse off

A bubble filled bath is one of my favourite places to sit. I too can sit there for hours. I like to amuse myself by giving myself hair made from bubbles and farting

This sounds vaguely familiar haha... New hair styles...

I wonder how many people fart in baths now. Not toilet humour.

Run the sink tap til it goes hot then turn on the bath tap

Northampton Somewhere

I'm going to have a bath in a bit, haven't had one for ages. The water goes cold really quickly as it's a metal one. We also have a water tank so the water hasn't heated up before you need it.

I miss my combi boiler!!!

My favourite one is the Johnny Bravo, it takes some practice but when you get it right....

I’m not shy of a bath fluff...people have witnessed them

An ex of mine used to love a really hot bath for ages. I'd often boil a kettle and top up the water for her.

Norfuck! / Lincolnshire

My bath gets used every day, shower only when I’m in a rush!

Taps are in the middle so it doesn’t matter which end you get in. I love bubbles and lovely soap and yes I top mine up! It has whirlpool jets too so a lovely relaxing bath

* if you exfoliate regularly and moisturise you won’t get dead skin cells floating on the water surface *

Aherm... It 'feels like'. As in. In my head.

Not that I *actually* do sit there in a bath with dead skin cells visibly floating about on the surface thank you very much.

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

Back in the 80's I was working long hours, ran a bath, put some sounds on, and fell asleep in the bath. Woke up about 2 hours later in water that was less than tepid. Even though I looked like a shriveled prune and freezing ma nuts off, I ran another hot one, and went out for the rest of the evening
