"Never seen any of them. Should I?" Not really, unless you like mobsters or gangster movie. 1,2 for me but I prefer goodfellas

"Never seen any of them. Should I?" I would say yes as I'm a massive fan. But If you like great acting, gangsters and great scripts give them a go.

"1&2 are both brilliant....3 was a bad idea and I just pretend it doesn’t exist " If 1 and 2 hadn't been made 3 would have probably been thought of as an ok movie, but sadly it was nowhere near the level of the 1st 2.

"2,1,3. Pretty sure that’s cinema law. But I do much prefer Goodfellas..." Goodfellas is an easier watch, a lot less twists and turns.

"Goodfellas Casino Godfather 2 A Bronx tale " American Gangster with Denzil Washington is well worth adding to that list as well.

"1 & 2 should be looked upon as one film and watched as such. Individually and combined they are outstanding pieces of work on all levels. In the 70s BBC broadcast the chronological version of the edited two films and it was a joy to watch. Alas you can no longer purchase that version. 3s not great but not bad either, it simply has big shoes to fill which it cannot manage."
