I have a bottle of homemade Seville orange gin infusing now. Sadly, like all citrus gins, it takes 3 years to mature!

Do all these gins actually taste of what they are meant to then. Or is it impossible to tell after a glass or seven anyway.

Or make your own. My homemade Rhubarb gin contains only 75g of sugar in a litre of gin!

The Bermuda Triangle in Suffolk

Am back on the gin after 30 plus years of not having any. Tried rhubarb and ginger with ginger ale too sweet so back on the tried and tested London gin. Doesn't make me drowsy like wine or feel dehydrated, so win win.

"I’ve yet to find a gin I don’t like

There are only a few I don't like and it must be one of the botanicals - a kind of aniseed taste (no, it's not aniseed!). London No. 1 for example

Also not keen on Aviation- tastes like cream soda to me!

And I can't seem to give away the Adnams one!

Sloe gin is absolutely amazing. We drink it as shots. It’s so sweet and beautiful!

I also love elderflower tonic water with gin and a slice of apple, orange or pear.

I REALLY like gin
