Why do people delete messages without even reading them first no wonder some lads on here don’t get anywhere

It could be your profile picture. Not everyone would meet someone with a cock pic for a profile pic, so they have no need to read your message. I've done that many times

I do this if I can read the whole message on the preview (or tell it won't be appropriate), if I've got a lot of mail and I'm put off just by looking (profile picture, subject, username), or I look at the profile first (in stealth mode, you won't know).

You need to work to make yourself attractive.

Many reasons the profile doesn't appeal, it's a one or two word message so don't need to open it to read it or because we are not looking to meet single males so the message was unsolicited.

Oh, that too. But I mean sell yourself. Pitch to the person, be personal, put in a little effort. Like, I took many versions of the pictures I've got to find one I was happy with. Wearing a full face of makeup in my face picture. I message carefully, etc.

Your post appears to suggest that some "lads" should get somewhere regardless of their approach, which is a little entitled to say the least.

As others have said people will often look at a profile first before even reading a message, and if they don't like what they see will delete the message without reading it.
