Somewhere In The Ether…

A bit random this on here perhaps, but I love the old Hammer films; Sumptuous sets, a bevy of buxom beauties and the always superb presence of such acting legends as Peter Cushing And Christopher Lee - what’s not to love?

So.....fellow fans, what is your favourite film?

Hiding in the shadows

My cousin (7yrs older than me) used to babysit me.

She always wanted to watch Hammer films but was too scared to watch alone!

The House That Bled To Death when I was about 6/7.

The airing cupboard was in my bedroom.

Listening to the pipes creak after that... Scary!

I watched it a couple of months ago... Not scary lol!

"Wasn’t one called the Vigin lesbian vampires "

There’s a few similarly titled films although only two from Hammer Studios; The Vampire Lovers and Lust For A Vampire (both part of the ‘Karnstein trilogy - Twins Of Evil being the third).

There is however also the Spanish erotic horror by director Jess Franco; Vampyros Lesbos (lesbian vampires) and finally the Hammer inspired homage, vampire comedy (although laughs were far from aplenty sadly), Lesbian Vampire Killers starring none other than James Corden (which might go some way to explain the lack of laughs in fact.....)
