I personally think sharks get a bad rep due to Hollywood and the media. So just because I'm bored and talking about sharks makes me smile, are there any fellow shark fans out there?

On a more serious note my 9 year old loves sharks especially the megaldon he often sits and watches stuff on you tube about them other times it’s some tripe called sis and bro those kids are super annoying

Be warned, he may never grow out of the shark phase, I never did. Got to love the megladon. The Steve Alten meg series of books may be great for him when he's a little bit older.

Got to admit I do quite like sharks. Not quite so showy as dolphins but very relaxing to watch. Anyone ever visited Sea life centre in Blackpool, the shark tank is awesome.

Interesting fact, the killer whale is actually a dolphin, so the name whale killer does make sense.

Sharks are the psycho frenzy killers of the ocean.

Now Orcas they are some serious methodical, calculating, tactical bad boys of the sea.

Ever seen how these guys hunt and kill? Creating waves to knock seals off of ice. Placing themselves over the blow hole of whales so they can drown them.

I love sharks, I think they're amazing animals. Completely misunderstood by most. Misrepresented as mindless human killing machines thanks to Hollywood.

Great White cage diving in SA will be the memory I shall take to my grave.

We never got to witness breaching, but under the surface, met a couple of 17-18ft animals. The water is always murky as hell so they almost appear from nowhere. Gliding majestically, while looking every inch the death they can bring if they get the urge.

Theres been an article turn up this week of a greenland shark that they say may be up to 512 years old, he doesnt look a day over 200
