I started shaving about a year ago. I like how it looks, I like how it feels and I think women appreciate it being tidy.

I mentioned it in the pub the other week, in a very left of centre, artistic group, and got a pretty shocked response.

I'm sure you're a much more open crowd to ask about it so:

Do you or your man shave and why?

How much hair do you prefer on a man?

If you do shave, do you use clippers, electric shaver, wet shave or something else?

Do you shave while soft or hard? It's a pretty awkward shape...

I’m currently sporting hair and i prefer men i have nookie with to have hair too. Trimmed is ok, but i like something to grab on to when i’m being face fucked and i can’t breathe. A quick pube tug and they soon shift.

I’m a shaver - as a naturally hirsute chap it’s a must to keep it under control. Shave the balls, keep the rest neatly trimmed. Normally wet shave whilst in the bath or shower. Haven’t tried it whilst hard, but I can see why some might find it easier. Might be an experiment next time...for SCIENCE!

I shave my shaft, balls and gooch every couple of days, trim the bush once a month or so. I hate having a hairy nutsack!

Funnily enough, I was having this conversation with a lad in the office earlier. We both trim & keep it tidy.

I can't go fully smooth as I'm fairly hairy (not in a gross way, I'd like to add) so to be totally bold around the groin area would just look weird.

Plus, imagine whipping down the Calvin's to find a completely bold ball bag. It would look very suspicious & somewhat presumptuous, I think to a lady.

Much the same as this, maybe not as frequent as every couple of days, more like weekly..

Another armpit shaver here too, I found that hairy armpits (when getting hot and sweaty), get smellier quicker as well as smelling worse lol..

Shaved here and have been for most of the past 3 or 4 years - not that hairy all over anyway, in fact my one chest hair got plucked by someone who shall remain nameless around 2002!!

Usually run a razor over my pubic area in the shower most mornings.

Balls can be a little tricky but have found with a little care and stretching the skin out a little you can get a fairly smooth finish.

Smoothest I've been was the one time I got waxed but just can't justify the cost on a regular basis.

I once read if you splash your hairy bean bags with cold water it makes the skin tighten so makes shaving easier.

I trim all around but shave my twernt.

Problem comes when shaving your arse (see my thread on that)

I wet shave my balls and the area round them daily. I like how they feel. I trim my body hair so I don’t end up looking like a yeti. Once every month a trim any excessive back hair and if I’m having some bottom fun I ensure my bum is either trimmed or shaved and my crack is shaved.

Ah well if you aren’t sucking them then I guess it is a moot point. I used to have hairy balls and I didn’t find them attractive I just didn’t think about them. Now I much prefer them shaved. I play with them a lot more now than I did before

I tend to mascape I had an ex who was studying to be a beautician at college and I became her guinea pig for a few years had my chest fully waxed painful the first time but wasn't too bad after that.

I now use an electric shaver / body groomer have done for years. using the foil end makes things rather smooth and then finishing off with moisturiser / baby oil.

I shave the balls and shaft but trim the rest right back, I just prefer t that way.

I also run the hair clippers with a number 1 over my arm pits and do find that even at the end of a days work they don’t smell sweaty

I often shave the shaft and nuts and trim the hair on the pubis. I do it for myself, as I like how it feels.

Some people like it, some prefer a bush. You can't please all of the people all of the time.

Agreed! Getting caught with a trimmer still brings back Vietnam style flashbacks. Razor all the way and make sure its a fresh blade!

I shave, wet shave... Yup I like the feel, the look, my gf likes that I m smooth all over.. For me it was a health bygiene thing because of how I was living and then I just really loved the whole feel etc. Always quite funny when my gf tells people she has a guy whos smoother than she is... And she does enjoy telling people
