I miss getting out in the garden at this time of year. Any other green fingered sorts out there?

I have a love-hate relationship with my garden. I love being out there in good weather and watching things grow but have a neverending battle with bloody bind, snails and a very infested so-called lawn. I keep looking at it now and am not looking forward one bit to the post winter tidy up it's going to need in the next few weeks!

Somewhere In The Ether…

I actually find gardening to be very therapeutic and love getting my hands in the soil. The eventual rewards of a beautiful garden are more than enough reward

Definately have a lot of work to do in ours. Love growing veggies and hops. Should be getting a dog this year so we need to make the garden doggie friendly

Okay, so apparently you can't say the thing which rhymes with seed and starts with 'w'

Bindseed then, and seed infested lawn (shakes head)

May I lovingly tend thy ladygarden?

A world all of his own

I managed to spend an hour in the garden yesterday, mostly tidying up and cutting some of the canna lillies back (6 foot tall and the wind had snapped the dead stems) but it was really nice to potter about

A recent study has shown that pottering about in the garden in winter is good for your mental health (assuming the weather's conducive of course) and is great for lifting the mood and relieving stress.

This must be why i always have such a sunny dispostion.
