No idea, but it’s not just you OP. I’ve had a similar experience recently, despite us talking about respect and being straight forward with one another. Then it transpires it’s just the usual Fab being told what someone thinks you want to hear. I’ve chalked it up to experience and tightened my selection process

Move on, forget about it, don't dwell on it.

There and to the left a bit

Obviously you can never tell until you have met and played for the first time whether you're going to want to meet again and I guess there may be instances where someone doesn't want to hurt feelings by saying they don't want to meet again so kind of let things drift off.

That said if someone has definitely said they want to meet again, or arrangements have been made, then they should at least have the balls to be honest about it if they don't want to meet again.

Sadly there will always be *some* that will tell you what you want to hear up front in order to get what *they* want and there's not a lot you can do to countenance that other than having your guard up

Sorry to hear you are hurting.

This happens to guys too.

Some people are not particularly upfront in their real thoughts, or have a re-think and decide, "no, this is not for me."

It can give a crisis of confidence, but I think, OK. I don't want to meet/stay/play with someone who doesn't want me in that way too, and I'm fine again.

It could be that he didn't feel as strong a connection as you, or the sex wasn't what he had hoped.

You can't tell that until you do the deed.
