I need help....

The person I’m referring to is perfect in every way, except for the snoring....

I’ve tried going to sleep first , earplugs, and holding her nose...

Nothing helps......

Any advice is greatly appreciated.....

Find the cause, get her to speak to GP, who may refer her to an ENT doc'. There may be solutions they can suggest/prescribe.

I think you can get throat spray for it? Or have them see if allergy treatment helps, or possibly tested for sleep apnoea (this may be well outside the scope of your relationship).

Miss snores sometimes. I give her a nudge in the back or squeeze her arse until she roles over. Mind you I snore too. We do have ear plugs as well.

You can get mouth devices to hold your jaw forward to reduce snoring. They are not easy to use at first, they take a couple of weeks to get used to, but they do work. The best ones are fitted by a dentist, but around £240.

If he sleeps on his back turn him over or take away a pillow to flatten out his head to allow his air way to clear or if he insists on sleeping on his back gently pull down on his bottom jaw to again open his air way if he is snoring from the nose

Sometimes even a separate room doesn't work as you can still hear it.

Snoring is one of my pet hates, it stresses me out.

It helps to go to bed first to get into a deep sleep but the only thing that works 100% is separate rooms not next door to each other!!

If she's a large person, she may have sleep apnoea which needs to be checked by her GP. Otherwise, a combination of throat and nose spray for her, and good earplugs for you. It also depends whether she's nose or throat snoring. Plenty of good advice online about it.

If it's really bad it's worth a trip to the doctor. A mate of mine's girlfriend made him get his snoring checked out as it was getting louder (or she was getting more annoyed by it over time). Turned out he had a cancerous lump growing in the neck which he was then able to have removed. Now there's no lump and no more snore. But there is still my mate, which I am happy about!

You can get bluetooth ones that are either silent, can play "soothing sounds" from your phone and you can set an alarm.

She is 5”6 , 110 pds and she sounds like a locomotive....

I swear how someone so small makes so much noise is amazing...

Try different types of earplugs. Some are better than others.

You can train yourself to tune noises out, have a look on the internet for techniques.

She cooks me breakfast in the morning at her place or mine.... that’s why I let her stay over...

Otherwise be aware you'll not get much sleep when she sleeps over and just go to bed earlier to catch up when she's not there.

It was a long distance relationship, so we only had a weekend together every month. The separate rooms worked fine - we split in the end for completely different reasons.

I was on holiday with a girlfriend and we shared a room. She would bang the headboard and it would stop me snoring. I told the other half and that's what he does now. Don't know why/how it works, but it works for me.

If its really bad and she has trouble concentrating or is tired during the day tell her to get checked out for sleep apneoa. When i was tested my snoring reached over 100db. Thankfully so snoring with the cpap machine.

When I was with my ex I used a Good Night Snoring Ring (you can get them from Boots). You put it on your little finger and it uses acupressure. I was sceptical about how a little pressure on your finger would stop snoring but my ex said it did make things quieter. Didn't stop it completely, but did help.

I'd tried the sprays and nose strips, and she made me get checked for apnoea (which I don't have) and this ring was the only thing that helped.
