From experience, after I split up with my husband, I found I enjoyed younger men's company.

I did try with men over 45, but they weren't for me.

If your looking at profiles of people in their twenties then maybe, but most women I see in their late 40s, 40s, 50s then 45 is well within their age range

They've got their profile set that way for a reason. It's what they want. You can't do anything about it.

OP when you do a search for people there is a box you can tick that says "only show people who are looking to meet my age". Perhaps if you used it you may find what you seek!

In a nutshell this

At 53 OP I've yet to feel "redundant" as you put it perhaps because I focus on those people that will meet me despite my age rather than worry about those that won't.

If I see someone whose age preferences I am outside of, I accept it plain and simple - nothing you can do about it

As I said though - why worry about those that won't meet you for whatever reason? You can't do anything about it and surely it's better to focus on those whose criteria you do fit?

I don’t think anyone thinks you don’t .

However people have preferences for example you have a preference on your profile or 40-70.

Me as a 25 year old could say “It’s a pity as us younger women have lots to offer”.

It’s simply a preference, you have to accept that not everyone is going to be attracted to you, and the older you get the smaller the amount of people attracted to you may get.

I said something similar the other day. Before I hit 50 on here I had 9 meets. And then nothing. There's 4 ladies on here asking all the time for a submissive within 5 miles or less. And am to old for them.

age never bothers me. I get bombarded with requests asking for meets. I embrace it all but at the same time if someone has a thing about my age its their problem. And like I say it's fine if I don't float your boat the doors over there

Getting older is a funny thing. I turn 40 this year and I was horrified when an ex BF that I'm good friends with, said "You're in MILF territory now!" Jesus wept.

For everyone who likes spring chickens, there'll be another who likes Silver Foxes or MILFS, you just have to find each other.

FWIW, my ideal pretence is mid 40s
