Missed it tonight, so can't read the thread. A lot of us have been fans on here since series 1 - we loved a lot of the fellas, including Ant

Tabs are not long enough. Bergans are to light. Pokey drill with a rock is not as hard as with a rifle....but thats health and safety for you. That said i could not do it nowadays. Not with my knees, back, neck.... basically every joint aches !

I noticed the distances and the time periods too. Nothing harder than second phase training in the front line Forces.

Given most of the applicants are amateur Atheletes, their failures in the physical side of things sometimes shocks me. I also feel it takes a bit away from the Marines, Paras, frontline troops who have to complete a far harder course.

Then the winners go round acting like they genuinely are made of the right stuff.. After 10 days? Yeah.. Ok then.

Tabbing Just hang, draw and quarter me please, anything but tabbing My little legs cant cope, let me run.

Back in the day at depot Lichfield we did the Brecon two miler. An eight miler. A 25 miler and the Fan dance. All with kit and that was in basic training. Once you got to battalion we tabbed with kit for miles. Then on the JNCO cadre's you did the eight miler in the lovely Welsh hills in full NBC kit. Next week it's interrogation. Who remembers the red light game ? Getting showered by a fire hose naked and blindfolded. White noise. Rounds going off. A browning dug into your temple. Spending a few hours getting mentally abused. It's probably pretty much the same now. Any youngster who watches the show who thinks it looks easy will have a shock if they join up.

Well I can't speak about Escape and Evasion stuff as I've never done it. I think id be good at it though. I think I have the mental fortitude the destroy my ph6sical boundaries. I just don't have the fitness level and never have done. Not at that silly level.

I'm only on season 3 and I can't believe it but I've already cried a couple of times watching the show, some of the stories are harder than any selection.

Its a shame they haven't selected anyone without some kind of deep seated mental health issues or personal crisis for the series imo.

I was talking about the current series to be honest.

Ant Middleton is the name to the face, you want to sit on. Foxy is is partner in crime, whose face I'm sure you'd probably want to sit on as well.

Looks like I'm left with Sugar Mommy Orthepedic Surgeon as neither of the boys do it for me. I don't want to be a mother to either of them thankyou very much.

On the bright side.. Jock would rag the fuck out of me in bed I suspect. She'd demand perfection and my angry side would come out with her constant nagging perfectionism. It'd be explosive sex. I bet she'd make a mean Domme as well. Her rational brain may make swinging a viable option? Silver linings..
