Black tea has many constituents that you may enjoy, including caffeine. The length of time that you brew your tea will determine Its flavour as well as Its chemical makeup.

How long should it be brewed for you? Are you mainly bothered by the colour? The relaxant properties are more slowly released, so brewing too quickly can mean you get hit of the lift but not the soothing mellow vibe.

Quick in and out?

I drink decaf from late afternoon onwards. I like 4 minutes or so of brewing - strong and full flavoured but - some will hate thos - then lots of milk, soya or otherwise

If it's black tea then just show the bag to the water. Like, barely a full dip.

Fruit tea, leave the bag in.
