Definitely Union man, played for years. I feel though, living in Leeds I should get over to Headingley at some point to check it out.

I play both.

One is a game played by chubby southerners, the other is a game played by northern supermen.

Wiltshire and London

Best thing about RL is when it’s on telly and you see a wintry shot of cooling towers in the background. That reminds me of my childhood in an around Derbyshire/Notts/Lincs.

Grew up down South so predominantly watched/played Union, wasn't sure I'd convert to touch rugby when I moved up north but it's a great sport and it's growing on me!! Realised that when I sat down to watch the final with a pint of bitter!

Super League has ruined RL and the international game. It's all about playing the percentages now. Very little flare or invention going forward. Lower leagues is where it's at. We are off to a freezing Yorkshire today to witness a defeat. But I'd much rather do that than watch 5 mins of union or football.

I played league for years then gave union a go at uni. I was asked by the ref and my own coach to calm down the big hits. Needless to say I soon got bored and knocked it on the head.

Grew up a Bradford balls fan. Was really into the sport but then moved south and it was all union so I gave up following - and then they went shit

At last a topic I can jump in and feel at home in... haha... I am a league fan, do a bit of work in both codes, appreciate the nuances union has but am RL through and through. I have to say that I enjoyed the quicker games this weekend, disagree with golden point for normal league games though.

The semi-finals of the Challenge Cup are being held at Bolton Wanderers ground in late July.
