Manchester (she/her)

I have a dress in a signature colour, my first item in that colour, and a skirt I made myself. Neither fit me at the moment. But I'm keeping them forever.

My wedding dress. It’s up in the loft. I doubt I’ll ever wear it again as I’ve lost a lot weight since we married but who knows, I may get it taken in to wear if we renew our vows for a special anniversary

I designed and made a jacket when I was at college in 1992 so 100% a one off. Wore it out back in the early 90's but not worn it for at least 20 years (it still fits!)

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

My old San Francisco 49ers NFL sports parka. I've had it since I was 16 and still try it on every now and again even though it looks ridiculous on me now

It's in very good condition and i'm told it would fetch a very good price on eBay as a vintage item but I won't part with it

Nothing lasts with me as I'm quite hard on cloths (alcohol usually involved)

The only thing that lasted was a pair of timberland boots which I had for 20 years !! (Miracle) but the sole came off and fell apart in 2018 rip

I'm a self-confessed hoarder for clothes and shoes that have significant events or people connected with them. Eg. A Boden coat I wore to court to extracate myself from my marriage. I don't intend to get rid of that.

The cut off sleeveless denimjacket I personally embroidered with about 10 of my favourite Rock Bands’ logos back in the late 70s. It was a labour of love but would never part with it. Still love their music to this day. I used to wear it over a black leather biker jacket with my taken in wranglers asnd cowrie boots. The rest of the outfit has long since gone but I can’t let go of the denim cut-off. I wouldn’t wear it now except for a fancy dress or something

The dress I wore to graduation. A dear friend bought it for me and I've not felt such strong emotion to an item of clothing since. It's beautiful and perfect for me and reminds me of such happy times.

A knitted waistcoat my nanna knitted for me about 30 years ago. It's a zig zag design in every colour known to man, never worn. It was the last thing she knitted me and I can't get rid of it.

It's in a drawer with Palmolive soap so it still smells like her xx

I doubt it very much, they cost me £80 20 years ago which was a lot but worth every penny.

Got into a few scrapes in them at home and abroad and they kept going.

The outer would have cleaned up even now but the sole totally came away

My wedding dress too because it’s unusual. It’s ivory with big blue flowers all over it (nicer than it sounds!!) I’m having it made shorter so I can keep wearing it.

Also, a thin cotton grey dressing gown. It’s about 18 years old but I wore it during labour with both my kids
