Buying tickets on-line

Does anyone have experience of buying tickets on-line for football matches?

Me and my fella will be in Valencia later this month when Celtic are playing in the Europa League.

I thought I'd go to the ground a couple of days before and see if there are tickets for sale.

Then I saw various websites offering to sell tickets for the match.

Should I wait until we get there and buy at the club, or should I buy on-line from some website?

I've only ever bought tickets from my clubs website and they only sell to members, other clubs may do the same so you might be unlucky.

I'm suspicious of third party resellers.

How about writing to both clubs directly, tell them you're having a romantic week away to celebrate an anniversary and as a surprise you'd love to take the other half to watch their favourite team?

Lots of clubs hold tickets back for special guests and suchlike.

You might get a couple of freebies and a guided tour....

Obviously don't let the club's know you've written to them both.

If you end up with four tickets remember who's idea it was eh?

The Celtic ones will be like hens teeth. Better chance in the home end. Might also be worth checking if they have tickets on the gate, just don’t wear green.

Always pay by credit card NOT debit card

If anything goes tits up credit card refunds money ..

I have bought tickets for Real Madrid and ba4celoma online but they were from the club

From ticket exchanges I have got USA vs turkey

I would say be careful and maybe see if you can get a ticket from the club first

Hola. Mi compañero y yo visitamos Valencia este mes para celebrar nuestro aniversario y me pregunté si es posible comprar dos boletos para ver a Valencia jugar en el Celtic de Glasgow. Somos de Bristol, Inglaterra. Muchas gracias.

If this works, I'll buy Google Translate a big drink lol
