What gives you the willies?

Like PROPERLY freaks you out?

For me it’s being in water (eg the sea) and something touches or brushes you which you can’t see ..

Or being somewhere strange (eg overseas on holiday) and there’s funny creepy crawlie noises in the dark .. and you’re wondering what the hell it is you’re sharing a room with!

So what is it that gives you the willies?!

The thought of being trapped out at sea, scares the living hell out of me. The thought of being on a plane crashed and dieing doesn't scare me, but the thought of being in a plane crashed in the sea and surviving is my worst nightmare

Tomato ketchup ... it revolts and disgusts me, it's not just disliking it, being anywhere near it literally turns my stomach and makes me gag. If someone tried to put it on me I'd completely freak and either run off or lash out at them in panic

Plus the more common slugs and spiders ...

When someone says put the willies up you I see that as what scares me, not what irritates me.

This! I thought I was the alone with this fear.

In addition, the thought of being in deep water and feeling the fear that something monsterous grabs you from the depths.

Slugs need to be added to that list, especially after last year over the summer when I I step out into the garden during the night and stepped on one...with my bare feet. Makes me sick still thinking of it.

And tall or massive structures, not being on them, just the seeing the size freaks me out.
