Struggling with a head cold caught from a meet but still working outside at night, can't sleep due to nose being alterning between being bunged up or running like niagara falls

It was awesome, right up until I got home and found floaters floating in the garden. So I've been YouTube'ing drain unblocking.

That sounds like a really lovely day Op. I've had a bloody incredibly brilliant day so am currently smugging it up in an almost unbearably smug way.

I got my days mixed up and was late for work.

I then got punished for it by not being allowed a drink and being made to do pointless, painful jobs that were an utter waste of time, and given the most pathetic tools to do said jobs.

I don't bother with putting in complaints about other staff or members of management as it falls on deaf ears and the management have each others backs, this time I will as the results of the jobs I was tasked with could have caused an accident and I'd have felt a right cunt if someone got injured because one of the managers was so hellbent on imposing their authority that they lost sight of common sense.

That does sound lovely OP - let us know what the gingerbread gin is like!

I’ve completed my second week at college and I’m loving it! So nice to get out of the house and speak to other people

Nice one Karen

I bumped into a lady who I had not seen for about 2 years, we sat on a bench and caught up with each other's lives

I have an awful cough and cold that feels worryingly flu-like. No rest with young kids at home. Fainted earlier in the kitchen. I was sitting on the floor at the radiator trying to stop shivering and think I got up too quickly. Husband is at work. Thankfully he's off tomorrow and I might have a chance to rest at last. Been feeling increasingly worse since Saturday

Last night I watched a handful of the MPs stay back after the Brexit amendment votes to debate the 1824 vagrancy act, which is still in force.

This morning I saw a fleet of security guys land at a town in Warwickshire and proceed to clear the homeless people off the streets. Where they were moving them to I don't know but my suggestion would be to bus them to the House of Commons so that the 10 MPs who actually give a toss may be able to raise some awareness amongst their colleagues.

Sounds like a nice day OP..

Mine was not too bad but went down hill past this afternoon. Glad to be home now but not looking forward to dealing with the fall out from issues today..

Yesterday was particularly horrible.

So that made today even nicer.

I finished work early went for a leisurely coffee before going to an art lecture. Cheered me up no end Lex

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

My day was frustrating and mentally tiring.

Luckily, it's not that important in the overall scheme of things.

All the spreadsheets will still be there tomorrow. Yay.

Utter shite.

Undoing half the work I've done the last 2 days as customer now wants it different.

Oh that and trying to figure out if I've not made the biggest mistake of my life.

Will probably do it again tomorrow.
