little house on the praire

Just sent Jay home as im neither use nor ornament today, but i did send him to buy me a toaster before he left as i fancied scrambled egg on toast later and didnt know how to use my grill.

What food do you like when your poorly.

chickken soup, rice pud, ice-cream and blancmange.

Mind you haveing been on a soft food diet for two and a half weeks (3 1/2 weeks more to do) I'm that sick of mushy stuff....I'm sure bacon on toast would make me feel much better...lol

Whats brilliant for the "tomtits" and believe it or not "cystitus is........

Natural LIVE yoghurt mixed with water and a pinch of salt.

Quicker than any other remedy i tried.

Diamond, I'm with you, scrambled eggs, soup is good too, or a home made chicken broth, its a shame that your too ill to make one when when you need it though, lol.

Hope you're feeling better soon. I've got sinus probs at the mo and am sick of the constant headaches

Ar technical things like grills are a little hard for a woman to fathom love

Much better with a toaster but don't forget to read the instructions thoroughly my little swap duck pmsl xx

Campbell's (or whatever is the new brand) condensed Chicken soup works wonders every time.

If I am up to it, I would make congee, as in rice soup - boil a handful of rice in lots of water until it is mushy and thick. Add a bit of stock powder for flavouring, spring onions, toasted sesame oil and seeds. Very simple, however, to me it is tasty when I am poorly.
