What has happened to the Specials ?

Ok they haven’t recorded anything for 37 years , but on the One Show as I write , I wish they hadn’t bothered with this dross .

Tragic , one of my favorite bands have ended up coming to this

I actually think Terry Hall sang ok , it was the nature of the lyrics . The same rhetoric being recycled with the most boring beat and reggae type rhythm that could have been any old tribute band .

I remember the freshness that came when Elvis Costello produced their early stuff . Truly innovative and a reflection of the times .

I would imagine the tour will be at old folks homes if tonight’s stuff is what’s on offer .

It’ll certainly beat ovaltine to help them get off to sleep .

I wouldn't trust The Specials ever again. I collected all the tokens and never did get my free Nelson Mandela. Regarding your problem, OP - you could complain to the fan club, or just do nothing.

That bad eh? Well if they do decide to do a gig here in Coventry it’s bound to be a sell out as it’s probably the only famous thing to come out of the city

It was announced in the local paper today they are playing splendour, along with manic street preachers.

If you still lived round here you could get discounted tickets lol
