couple, us we him her.

Ok so here's the deal.

I have noticed that all I do is moan and complain.

It's everything moan moan moan especially at work,I know I have been doing it for years but lately I have really noticed it more than ever.

How can I train myself not to do this.

I want to be a more cheerful, likable person rather than being known as a miserable old git.

No prizes for the first smart arse who says

"Simple stop moaning"

Yeah I actually hadn't thought about that one!

Look for beauty and appreciation in the small things.

Animals, laughing babies, stuff that happens naturally and innocently.

Hopefully it'll help to shift your mood.

If you don't have anything nice to say... simply say nothing.

Retain silence. It is a stealth weapon if nothing else.

Silence gives others NOTHING to target at you or quote you on, gossip about or mock.

"It's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt" (quote from probably Mark Twain)

Hold your tongue and say nothing. If nothing else it keeps them guessing and wondering.

Reflect on your thoughts. Try to aim them towards the positive, look for nice things to think and say, and spend more time in your head with them than the negative stuff. That sounds namby pamby but it does work over time.

As best you can, keep away from negative people and situations (whether this is he or she posting) x

part of the reason I left my last job was because of the moaning and negativity. Its difficult to maintain a positive attitude in that environment. Do your colleagues moan a lot, have you fallen into the trap of joining in?

I don't know how to stop yourself moaning unless you make a conscious effort not to.

You need a mantra. Type it up and sit it where you can see it as you wake up in the morning.

I am happy.

I am going to think happy thoughts.

I am going to say happy things.

I am going to smile all day.
