Do you go for the conventional meet in a bar, or do you like to set up something a little different to get to know the person?

dinna do meets in bar...

my house .... they knock , I answer

we sometimes say Hi ... but not compulsory ...

get naked and shag ....

aint marrying em.... just popping em..

After a little thought i guess its a matter of treating everyone as an individual. Some your not so sure about in public places. Others you gel you go for it. Depends on how you see re-meets or not going.

Have done both.

If meeting at Hotel - then its just as easy to meet in the hotel bar - unless on 2nd meet and he gives you the room number so you can go straight up, lol.

Have met at house, after long chats and emails, as can set the scene a bit better and be alot more relaxed about what you talk about without worrying what the people on the next table can hear!!

(i have overheard some fantastic conversations, lol)

Think if it was a quickly arranged meet then would prefer a bar.

This is definitely the norm for us, there is usually the option to come back to ours for fun on the same night if we're all up for it!

We have always met in a pub or coffee shop first.

Main reason: we play at home and wouldnt want someone turning up until we know the kids are away at the babysitters.

We also think that if things dont go the way you want (ie the other person/people dont float your boat) you havent given out your address and you arent under pressure to play cos they have traveled xxx distance to meet you.

Or like happened to us yonks ago person turned up - we had all chatted on msn and phone seen each other on webcam, seemed to get on all right, but then once we were all together it was pretty clear the person wasnt who they made out they were.

Now I just give out our mobile number and say lets meet at blahblah coffee chop of pub then if they dont turn up or dont like up it dont matter cos they dont got my address so cant turn up a stupid oclock when the kids are at home!!

Seems like a good idea, but we tried it ages ago and it was really embarrassing - as they wouldn't take no for an answer and as we were in a small club we couldn't escape! Great if you get on but otherwise not so good!

Agree there too... If your meeting someone at the club.. arranged in advance it would be awkward to just move on to someone else especially if they fancied you say...

Besides... once I get in my towel.. I love it so much I'd find it hard to slip it off........

As I said before it's all agreed before. I guess you just need the confidence to say if it doesn't feel right. It safer than going to a house on your own.

We usually send one of the Bentleys to collect our guests, then chaffeur drives them to the heliport to transfer them by our helicopter to the yacht at Monaco, or possibly just to the airport to get on the private jet to the Caribbean ( if we are using the big yacht this week).

Once they arrive we tend to give them "welcome gifts" something like a Patek Philippe for him, antique pink diamonds for her that kinda thing,

please note that FUTURE meets may have to settle for a burger from McD's and a contribution towards bus fare ( one way), Damn this credit crunch

As a guy I always ask if the honey wants this option (if they're a couple too) as there's absolutely no pressure for either side and makes for a more relaxed start. Always start off expecting nowt. Anything else is a bonus.

Meet in the bar if im meeting a single lady make her feel at ease and the fact shes in a public place unless she sugest otherwise

bar, hotel, coffee shop doesn't really matter, at home NEVER...I have a special nod I give to peds if things don't feel right as he has no issues with saying things as they are, he hopes they don't take offence but if they do he says that's their issue and not ours as long as we are truthful with them, sometimes you just wont click.
