I was on the forums of another (serious discussion) site yesterday and someone posted that he occasionally did something that was fraudulent. The thing he was doing wasn't (imo) horrific ( think along the lines of your restaurant bill arriving and it being incorrect in your favour, and not saying anything. Although this isn't what it was, just my example)

The guy got absolutely slated on the forums

They called him a low life, criminal, asked him if he had some kind of mental disorders (wtf??) said he was a bad parent/person/employee.

I was completely dumbstruck at some of the replies.

I am high functioning autistic so often don't see things like others do, however am I right in thinking that lots of us do things that aren't exactly law abiding or honest, but it doesn't make us bad people?

Or have I got that completely wrong?

Anyone who says they never break the law is deluding themselves

Sadly.. forums get used by people with high moral compasses, chips on their shoulders and axes to grind

Bexley/Buxton

You get a lot of people on the forums who take great delight in abusing others sadly. Unhappy in their own existence so feel a real need to put down others to make themselves feel better.

People are entitled to their opinions but there is a definite pack mentality on some forum posts. Once one goes in for the kill all the others get brave and have a pop too.

Interesting to read the replies, as unusually people seem to think the same way I did about it.

So, does that mean that people on this site are more broadminded overall, or already we less moralistic?
