Does anyone still use them?

Does anyone knit their own?

Or are they very overrated?

I use them. Get ones that keep the handle out or be prepared to use an oven mitt while pouring.

I have a knitted one which I got at a local fête.

Anyway, the teapots in cafés and hotels are usualy rediculously small, so the contents don't stay around long enough to get cold..

The ones I made for my cafetieres are hand quilted, the tea cosies are a mix of knitted and crocheted. I'm very rock n roll doncha know

Tea made in pots, with the added bonus of a cosy, is a fine thing indeed.

Nope but I hate tea!

I have never knitted one in my life. Tend to stick mainly with knitting socks but also the occasional shawl or hat

Been practicing my tea making skills after I was told it was the one think I was completely shite at... that hurt so i’ve been working at it really hard... Bought a tea pot AND a cosy.

Still need someone to judge the tea though. #letitbrew
