To be fair, a hopeless romantic might not be romantic at all, due to being hopeless at it.

They should practice romancing if they're hopeless at romance.

Maldon

Has got me into all sorts of trouble over the years. Not all bad though - I have some lovely memories.

Time I grew out of it though!

I do love romance.

Not had a great time lately and hubby comes home with 2 creme eggs and some carnations and a silly card. I cried and it was so lovely. Love that man so much!

You would think so, but some people don't

A better term might be a Proficient Romantic.

You could take your romance proficiency test.

Get a certificate.

But that doesn't sound very romantic.

Back to the drawing board with that one.

To all the girls I've loved before

Who travelled in and out my door

I'm glad they came along

I dedicate this song

To all the girls I've loved before

I’m definitely hopeless at romance. I thought sticking a rose up my arse would keep it fresh until Valentine’s Day. I even have a pic on my profile to prove it

I'm a practical romantic.

I would have used a vase.

(For the rose, not your arse)

I get embarrassed or suspicious. I think I need more practise at being romanced

Who Better?

Who better to return to

at the end of the day?

Can't wait to get home.

Empty my pockets

and wash my hands.

Who better to lift a glass

at the start of dinner?

Clink.

He: "On no two consecutive days…

She: … is the shoreline precisely the same."

Who better to shake a tail feather

or slow dance, New York Style?

Oldies are the best.

And when I land on her backgammon blot

oh, to play that long, slow back game.

Who better on the road

to make it home wherever we are?

And meeting people along the way

who better to encourage

me to tell an old story made new?

Who better to light a candle

for a joy to share, or a sorrow?

Her byline: respect and reverence.

As each season brings its own,

who better to gather the harvest?

©Neal Whitman
