Ok, my first topic post on here.. so bear with me please guys.

Been mailed tonight from a straight guy, who lives miles away from me, to be a mature friend.

He has like minded interests, which is fine.

I’m an open minded guy, no problem with that.

He doesn’t seem to have many “mature professional” friends...

So the debate is (yes I’ve asked him and not got a real honest answer out of him)

Why, when he lives hundreds of miles away, single me out and ask me?

How the hell did he find my profile in the first place ?

We’re talking 400 miles by the way ...

Maybe he just clicked on "men online" instead of searching by area?

There and to the left a bit

Could be he's looking for someone just purely to chat to about his experiences here and the shared interests are what led him to you.

Could be someone ultimately out to scam you in some way.

Could be any number of other reasons that it's difficult to tell without seeing the messages and looking at his profile.

Trust your gut instinct either way, it's often right

Maybe, didn’t think of that, but we are talking a big distance,, let’s say him in Scotland and I’m in Devon

But I would walk 500 miles

And I would walk 500 more

Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles

To have a mature professional friend

Maybe Gemini ... what would you do if another straight guy mailed you to be friends and potentially do an mmf ... when they live hundreds of miles away from you?

He wants to touch your bum probably.

He will probably tell you he's going to be working in your area soon.

Well that's my reading of it.

Hello, welcome.

No idea why he's singled you out but it would be quite easy to find your profile.

The mention of mature professional would have my spidey sense tingling but keep your wits about you and you might make a good friend.

He maybe does the scatter gun approach and just messages everyone online and hopes for a reply.

The fact he is so far away would suggest to me he probably just enjoys talking about it and fantasizing.

Ah now you didn't mention the MMF thing in your OP - if that were the case, amd it was introduced early on then I'd be very suspicious that either an imaginary lady would be introduced and if you carried on going along with it that you'd be asked to pay for half the hotel or something similar, never to see your money or a hotel room. Either that or he was just looking for wank fodder by talking sexy with another guy.

He'll be asking advice about his unusual shaped cock next, and wanting a pic of yours for comparison.

I thought this was going to be a totally different type of thread so I will take my chin some where else.

Before I leave...

It is very common OP to get a message/wink 100s of miles away. Happens often and could be because of the forums or just totally random.

Haha Adam ... you’re chin is safe !!

Hundreds of miles is fine.. I get that, but from a straight guy asking to be “friends” and maybe team up,, seems a little odd.

He travels the uk for work often apparently..

He could be "Fab Straight" meaning not really straight and fancies you!

Oooh what you gonna do?

On a serious note:

It does sound like you been chosen or could be a target, but then again could be a real genuine person wanting to be your friend... go with your gut instincts and be a little cautious in any information you share. Especially pictures.

Thanks adam69

I only have intimate photos for friends only; so all cool with that .. not sure to be honest ..

Part of me wants to carry on the conversation with him. The other part of me wants to tell him to fuck the right off ..

Being a fairly open and curious guy... not sure with it all... hence me opening it up to the forum.

God knows why he messaged you, but check his profile every 30 minutes to make sure he is still 400 miles away.
