Just a word, but please please make sure when you leave your property that you switch off any electrical items, never overload extention leads. A simple battery charger that had been left on caught fire, and the two top floors of my house have been totally destroyed, it went up like an inferno. The rest of the house is smoke damage and water damage. I was lucky my two nephews live with me and got me out. Thank god for our wonderful emergency services, and thank god I was fully insured, also the smoke alarms. I would hate anyone to go through this, so please switch off.

Oh gawd, that’s awful my lovely, but thankfully nobody was injured!

It must be very distressing to lose personal possessions but they can be replaced and at least you’re all safe x

I'm glad you're all ok.

I switch everything off but don't always unplug my charger.
