quite like seeing an ex who you have never quite got over with a new partner?

I could cry, be sick and faint at the same time

I've always wanted my exes to be happy in life ... if I felt like that then I would still be in love with them surely?

Truthfully, I don't care.

I used to, but as I've got older I realise everything comes to an end for a reason, even if you don't quite know it yet, and I never, ever go back.

Onwards and Upwards was my school motto and I stick to that philosophy over my men nowadays

Seeing anyone who's hurt you look happy and appear to be moving on is difficult to process.

Deep breaths, OP. It ended for a reason, and your time in the sun will come eventually. x

It felt strange being at one of family's parties, but what hurts is him giving her the happiness he wouldn't give to me.

No ill feelings though, we all get on well.

I'm trying to think of an ex I've never got over, some break ups have been easier than others. Ive never been in your posistion op but I do sympathise. If it helps think of all the bad habits the guy has and smile in the knowledge that his new partner has to put up with them now and not you.

In the middle

I haven’t ever felt that way, I was very happy that my ex husband had found someone before I asked him to leave, it saved me worrying that he might want to come back

That must of been really difficult, I’ve been there too.

Maybe you need more time to get over your ex.

They say time is a healer and it really is.

Block them on social media

Avoid seeing them

Don’t listen to what they have been doing

And I know it’s easier said then done but accept it’s over.

Hope that these bad feelings go away for you soon OP x
