There and to the left a bit

Having just been caught out thinking my iPod was about to play Town Called Malice by The Jam based on the intro when it actually played Ready For Love by Martha Reeves & The Vandellas (go listen you'll see what I mean) - are there any other songs with almost identical intros?

Oh another one that always gets me is I'll Take You There - The Staples Singers which I always think is Liquidator by Harry J Allstars when it starts

Living in sin. Bon Jovi. Similar to another one. Think it might be father figure George Michael.

Close and can see where you're coming from but Bowie is missing a fourth drum beat

West Wales and Cardiff

Paul Weller - Changingman

ELO - Overture

I think Weller may have cleared it officially as if he sampled it though

Queen, did someone once accuse them of nicking one of theirs, or was it a Brian May original?

There are only so many riffs that you can use to impress the ladies

Fast Love by George Michael & Men In Black by Will Smith both appear to have sampled Patrice Bouchen's Forget Me Nots
