It's not recommended as it creates a barrier and can't be washed away easy, leading to bacteria growth etc.

If you buy from Lovehoney (for which you get a discount if you order via the link on the home page here) the packaging is a plain brown cardboard box.

Not sure what you mean by someone breaking you in?
