Did this really used to happen and if so what if you picked the keys of a gent you didn’t really fancy??

I imagine the 70s parties were something!

It certainly did...!

It was very different from today, like most things, without the benefit of internet access.

All meetings done by word of mouth. And of course, you had to start somewhere so you couldn't just throw it up in conversation as in "Any of you guys into wife swapping..."

The term swinging wasn't in use back then.

All very exciting and very naughty times...

I used to know a fella and his wife who held swinging parties at a local b&b..

They used to throw room keys into a bowl..

And that was in the noughties, never mind the 70s lol

I know the classified sections were used a lot. It’s so easy to hook up these days but back then I can’t imagine it was.
