Another thread has prompted this... on the radio this morning they were asking people what would you bring back from the 70's (if you were around, if not I'm sure you can thing of something lol)

They were talking about spangles (sweets - and the old fashioned ones)

Wedges (shoes, not the potatoe kind)

I'd love the hot summers we had back then lol!!

you have got to be joking, we got married August Bank Holiday 1977, Thunder and lightening while we were taking our vows as one of the bridesmaids was floating down the A2 curtersy of the River Cray bursting its banks!

There were some hot summers - honestly lol!! I remember lady birds biting people looking for moisture on the skin!!
