Disappearing status?

I put up a status today before I went out shopping, nothing contentious, referred to my latest picture, but when I got home and logged in,it had disappeared.Anyone experienced this?

Its hard to fathom things out on here at times sometimes people complain about a status and it gets deleted just because they reported at other times cartoon photos are approved when it clearly says they won't. A friend said they tested the report thing when a friend said "Hi how are you" and they got a warning for abuse for sending it so its really hard to figure out what is really done when something is reported.

It said something along the lines of 'Please don't accuse me of fakery,my latest photo isn't intended to deceive, I used an app to change my hairstyle, does it suit me?'

Don't see what's wrong with that, especially as so many pics are changed by Snapchat etc
