decreased sex drive

Usually me and hubs have sex every day sometimes twice a day. I've always had a really high sex drive but this last week or so it's been none existent hubs is complaining because i haven't touched him or let him touch me. I'm honestly just not in the mood for sex etc

Anyone please tell me what could b causing this and what i should about it

I lose my sex drive the week before time of the month (although I'm on the coil, still get the symptoms)

My sex drive usually increaes the week before I'm due Mr m loves it because I'm really tight then

Hormones are more than just pregnancy.

Insulin, thyroxine and cortisol are all hormones too, and affect a lot ofimportant functions.

Maybe chat to your GP?

I go through phases. Sometimes my sex drive is really high another x practically non-existent.

It's only been going on for a short period of time so I wouldn't sweat it.

Also, nothing turns me off more than a man moaning that’s he’s not getting any so maybe that’s got something to do with it?

It's perfectly normal for your drives to peak and trough owing to many small (or big) factors. Don't put pressure on each other to be a certain way, it will come back when you're ready

Worry if it lasts a month not after a week. Take a little time to yourself and ask the Mr to back off a bit, it might be him one day.

... and speak to your GP if it continues more than a month. You're fortunate not to have experienced it before now. It's usually normal peaks and troughs.

Didn’t have it for 5 years and didn’t leave yet lol she’s not a wife yet either.

It depends I would say but yeah it get frustrating sometimes. They will probably try to look for it somewhere else

I wouldn't panic after a week of no interest in sex when you have been very busy and pressure has been on.

Do some exercise to increase endorphins. You may also just be under the weather. But a week is a drop in the ocean.

Don't feel guilty about feeling lack of interest in sex. That just puts more pressure on.

Stress, hormones, virus, illness, being nagged ... everything that's been said before though your doctor won't do anything before 6 weeks usually.

Try resting and making you time. Remind your husband being selfish doesn't help and it'll be him one day!

I lost mine a while ago but thankfully its returned better than ever.

Don't let it worry either of you.

That will just make the situation worse.

Talk to your other half and give reassurance.

Why don't you prepare a candle lit dinner when neither of you are working the next day to make him feel special. Especially if this doesn't happen often or suggest a day out by yourselves. It would relax you both and show him you care and still want him around.

Just an idea for the interim.

Sure it will pass soon.
