I just had to reboot the laptop and still had a word document open, it asked me if I wanted to save it and like a dipstick I said no, got to try and remember everything now and re do it

what flammin pain in the bum!

depends on the size of document of course but don't you save anything bigger than a letter, every couple of minutes or so?

larger docs to back-up?

new lap top - had my old one set up to do it automatically - this one is now

try recent documents,it might be there,on start all programs,at top recent documents,and same when you open word

tried that - well K did cos of the language I was using but she couldn't find anything
